With kindness support and solidarity from our partners/donors and our global Church, local authorities, and the Royal Govt of Cambodia. Caritas Cambodia able to provide inclusive respond to the most urgent humanitarian needs by reach out to 5,954 poor and most vulnerable families,

Humanitarian Assistances.

The humanitarian assistance provided by Caritas Cambodia included emergency food supplies, clean water, and temporary shelter materials. The families were affected by a severe storm that hit their village, destroying their homes and crops.

Integrating Community Development Programs,

The program promoted development areas of food security and livelihood development, social and economic growth through community empowerment, cooperative model, sustainable agriculture development, and inclusive value chain.

Center for Child and Adolescent Mental Health

It’s goal is to provide quality services for children with neuropsychiatric, developmental and mental health disabilities and to achieve health and educational equity through early identification, counselling and a multimodal therapy.

Improving Quality of Maternal and Child Health Care at Community

Caritas Cambodia’s initiative is working through both the Integrated Management of Childhood Illness (IMCI) Strategy and also at the hospital level to address the issues of maternal and child health care.

OUR STRATEGY

Caritas Cambodia is an official social development arm of the Catholic Church in Cambodia. . It has been built on the values of Love, Concern, Justice, Peace Unity, Sharing and brotherhood. It draws inspiration from the Gospel and aims at integral development of people irrespective of race and creed. Hence the objectives of Caritas Cambodia specifically include the following.

Strategic Objective 1: Reduce the impact of humanitarian crises by enhancing disaster preparedness and response, climate change adaptation, ecological protection.
Strategic Objective 2: Improve livelihood and living condition and well being of the poor and vulnerable communities through Integral Human Development.
Strategic Objective 3: Ensure safe migration and ending modern slavery.
Strategic Objective 4: Advocacy, Campaign to promote voice of the poor, demand for justice, human rights, and to lobby for policies and law enforcement.
Strategic Objective 5: Caritas Cambodia is a professional organization of the social arm of the Catholic Church with high commitment and professionalism to development work for the poor and vulnerable communities.
